Oil on panel (380mm x 405mm including frame) - "Sunglasses and gingham" was one of those self imposed challenges. It's intentionally taken from an Instagram shot of fellow artist Kelly Grace. I wanted to see how much life could be conveyed in a painting from a snap shot. Some artists insist that portraits must be done from life, in my experience they rarely capture the sort of life that you'd want to see day after day on your wall.
