Oil on canvas - "Miss Darby" (400mm x 305mm) is a study of Myrna Darby who found fame as a Ziegfeld girl (1908 - 1929), but died tragically young. I love the original black and white portrait photograph that this piece was painted from and wanted to see if I could effectively colourise it in oils. To be honest I still prefer the black and white.
