Sodium Vapour is a piece where the lighting came entirely from sodium vapour street lighting, giving the whole palette a yellow hue from the orangey yellow light that comes from sodium vapour lamps. They are rapidly becoming an extinct light source, as when they die they usually replaced by more efficient led street lights. The new led lighting might be more efficient, but it certainly isn't as interesting or as gentle as sodium vapour.
This piece formed part of the inaugural CBPP show in Islington, 'Perceptions'.
